- A video clip of the Where the Wild Things Are movie trailer: getting students' attention and getting them interested in a film based off of a text.
- Although this may be a bit untraditional for a blogging website (to recommend a youtube clip), I think that it's a great opportunity to get students interested in reading. This trailer is very exciting and would catch the attention of most students and perhaps, engage them enough to drive them to want the view the movie. In doing so, they could become familiar with the original text, which would promote more reading! This link is easy to follow and I recommend it to help get students interested peaked.
